Respect for forests
By utilizing Itlas engineered wood floors you are participating in conserving forests that will become more precious as time goes by. In fact an oak tree grows just 1mm a year. Each tree takes an average of 180 years to reach its final growth stage.
Furthermore, with its stringent Chain of Custody practices, ITLAS ensures that the wood it uses does not come from over logging or illegal sites and sources its raw material from suppliers that practice forest management.

Certifications
In order to ensure both quality and safety of ITLAS wood flooring products, ITLAS performs the necessary series of tests aimed at checking lumber resistance to several stresses including knocks, abrasions and water absorption.
In order to further ensure ITLAS commitment to supplying high quality products, ITLAS sends its products to the CATAS Research and Development Centre, an official centre for the certifications on the quality of materials based in Italy. Tests are repeated on a regular basis in order to maintain the high quality standards set by Itlas.
